Personal Commitment
- I personally commit to advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion at Sullivan.
- I will meet with Sullivan’s LCLD Fellows and alumni at least quarterly to assess how we are expressing these core values day-to-day and over time.
- I will participate in the work of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee to recruit, retain, and foster the success at Sullivan of talented individuals from every quarter.
Organizational Commitment
- Our Hiring Committee will search for prospective associates outside the traditional on campus interviewing process, engage with law school affinity organizations and otherwise broaden our search for talent.
- Our attorneys and professional staff charged with recruiting lateral associates and partners will foster relationships with recruiters, professional organizations, clients, and individuals whose contacts expand our reach.
- When supporting the success of those in their charge, our department directors, practice group leaders, and talent development professionals will be attentive to any particular challenges facing our diverse attorneys and professional staff.
- Sullivan will engage in programming and discussions related to DE&I within our firm, the legal industry, and more broadly as circumstances affect our colleagues, clients, and our work together.
- We will collaborate with clients to support DE&I.
- We will pursue and maintain Mansfield Certification as a framework for our DE&I efforts.
- We will encourage ongoing attorney participation in the LCLD Fellows Program.
