Personal Commitment:
- Serve as a thought partner to Con Edison’s CEO, HR Team and Learning & Inclusion Team on diversity, equity and inclusion issues
- Use my voice and influence to publicly advocate for material systemic change to address diversity, equity and inclusion impediments in the legal community
- Personally participate in and support the development programs of the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA)
- Mentor at least two African American attorneys
Corporate Commitment:
- Formalize and enhance the Con Edison Law Department Diversity & Inclusion Program, including HR practices, talent development, supplier diversity, metrics and accountability for senior leaders
- Focused development of diverse Con Edison legal talent, including, but not limited to, development opportunities through LCLD, MCCA and/or the Executive Leadership Council
- Ensure that stretch and cross-disciplinary assignments are provided to diverse Law Department attorneys to enhance their visibility and position them well for advancement

- Supplier diversity metrics – utilization of diverse law firms and majority law firm diverse attorney utilization
- Succession plans diversity representation
- Promotion pipeline diversity
- MCCA/LCLD/ELC development engagement
