  • Continue to promote the value of diversity and inclusion at all levels of our firm.
  • Advocate for our D&I Committee’s projects and services.
  • Regularly review recruiting efforts to ensure firm goals are attainable.
  • Promote mentoring of diverse attorneys and review progress reports.
  • Monitor equity in work assignments and compensation practices.
  • Meet twice a year with our LCLD participants to solicit their feedback on our firm’s practices and their LCLD experience.
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with other LCLD colleagues.

Organizational Commitment 

  • Continue our firm’s support and sponsorship of diversity job fairs, scholarship programs, law school activities and other endeavors.
  • Ensure practice group leaders are working with diverse attorneys.
  • Continue support of firm’s affinity programs.
  • Ensure our firm’s D&I committee is comprised of owners, attorneys and staff members.
  • Ensure our firm’s diversity efforts align with our firm’s strategic plan. 
  • Continue ongoing education and training programs for all employees.
  • Seek opportunities to broaden our pool of diverse candidates.
  • Continue our efforts to retain attorneys from diverse backgrounds.
