The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity would like to thank Honeywell International, Inc. for hosting an exceptional Learning Experience for LCLD Fellows.
The Experience kicked-off with an evening reception, dinner and welcome by Kate Adams, Honeywell General Counsel, and Craig Primis, Partner, Kirkland & Ellis, co-sponsor of the event.
Kate Adams started the program the following day with her personal story of professional success and spent the remainder of the day participating in the Experience and interacting with Fellows.
Engaging presentations were made by the President of Honeywell Technology Solutions, Vice-Presidents of Government Relations, and the Chief Corporate Litigation Counsel. The Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Communications also delivered a dynamic presentation.
As a special treat, Honeywell awed the LCLD audience with a tour of its in-house technology showroom where Fellows were invited to try the flight simulator and experiment with hand-on technology exhibits. LCLD Fellows were also treated to a tour of the United States Capital. Fellows overwhelmingly enjoyed the experience.
The Honeywell team truly demonstrated their commitment to LCLD’s mission during the Learning Experience. They provided our group of Fellows with a frank, insider’s look at the path to leadership and how a world-class organization views diversity. Their time and insights (both personal and professional) made for a unique and rewarding experience.
Cassandra H. Headrick, 2013 LCLD Fellow, is a Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Minneapolis.
