2014 Fellow Daniel Prince was recently promoted to Partner at Paul Hastings LLP.
2013 Fellow Caryn Boisen was recently appointed to serve as National Coordinating Counsel in nationwide mass tort products liability litigation for a Fortune 200 manufacturing company. As National Coordinating Counsel, Caryn assists her client in defending claims throughout the country, and in developing long term strategic initiatives. Caryn also continues to represent other clients in the areas of products liability, construction, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
2011 Fellow Holly Loiseau was recently recognized at YWCA-NYC’s 41st Annual Academy of Women Leaders Salute Luncheon. Please click here to read more about this honor.
COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
2013 Fellow Jamie Boyer is the President of the Board of Directors of Voices for Children, which provides volunteer and legal advocates for abused and neglected children in the St. Louis foster care system. She is also a participant in the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM), where she provides legal services to indigent clients of LSEM. She is also the Past-President of Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis.
2011 Fellow Michael Vercher is the founder of Q at the Zoo, which is an annual fundraiser and BBQ competition. All proceeds from this annual event go to Holy Family Cristo Rey High School in Ensley, AL. HFCR provides a college preparatory education to economically challenged students and partners those students with corporations where they intern one day a week. Michael was a founding member of the school’s Junior Board and currently serves on its Advisory Board. Michael was also selected for a team that is creating a mentoring program for “at risk” students in Pititz Middle School in Vestavia Hills, AL. The planning is in the preliminary stages, but the hope is to use this program in all city schools.

On Thursday, November 13, Just The Beginning -- A Pipeline Organization (JTB) will be holding its 2nd Annual Friendraiser & Reception in Chicago, Illinois, at Chase Tower, 57th Floor, 10 S. Dearborn St. at 5:15 p.m. For more than 20 years, JTB has been at the forefront of pipeline diversity efforts for the legal profession, uplifting high school students from underserved communities to pursue careers in the legal profession. JTB’s board of directors, corporate partners, law firm partners, and college and law school alumni will have an opportunity to mix, mingle, and celebrate JTB’s growth and plans for the future. CORPORATE COUNSEL INTENSIVE INSTITUTE - BOULDER, CO: January 5-6, 2015
The University of Colorado Law School will host the first-ever Corporate Counsel Intensive Institute (CCII) January 5-9, 2015, at the Wolf Law Building in Boulder, Colorado. CCII is an intensive one-week course designed to immerse prospective or new in-house counsel in the best practices of being an effective and strategic in-house counsel.
