DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION LEARNING EXPERIENCE - Washington, D.C.: March 23-24, 2015

You’ve already heard about the inaugural Roundtable hosted by 3M’s General Counsel Ivan Fong. Now it’s your turn to participate in one of the Roundtables listed below. Participation will be limited to about eight Fellows to ensure an intimate discussion.

Registration fees have been implemented to help cover increased conference expenses including speaker fees, one group dinner, and the growing number of Fellows Alumni.

BECOME A CITY LEAD

The 2014-15 Success in Law School Mentoring Program was a great success, with more than 760 matches around the country! We know we could not have achieved this result without the dedicated efforts of our Mentors and the leadership of our City leads. Thank you!

Many of our City Leads have served since the Program's inception, and some are ready to give others an opportunity to step into a leadership role. We are currently seeking new City Leads in the following locations:

  • Boston (to partner with current City Lead) 

  • Dallas (to partner with current City Lead)  

  • Bloomington - New City for 2015-2016

  • Austin - New City for 2015-2016

An important part of the City Lead role in 2015 will be to attend the City Lead Training Session on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Jones Day office in Atlanta, GA. Specific start and end times will be announced in the coming weeks.

NBA COMMERCIAL LAW SECTION 28TH ANNUAL CORPORATE COUNSEL CONFERENCE - Naples, FL: Feb. 26-28, 2015

The 28th Annual Corporate Counsel Conference is scheduled for Feb. 26-28, 2015, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fla. There are several LCLD members attending. We will try to organize an informal get together (breakfast, Happy Hour, etc.) so we can have an opportunity to network.
