2014 Fellow Margaret Ikeya has been selected as a finalist in the category of Best IP Lawyer by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times in their 2015 Best Bay Area Corporate Counsel awards.
2014 Fellow Carlos R. Romo was selected as a 2015 Austin Under 40 finalist in the Legal category.
2013 Fellow Christa Brown-Sanford received the 2015 Young Leader Award from the Dallas Women's Foundation, one of seven awards acknowledging outstanding female leaders. Read more about her award here.
2012 Fellow Nadine Peters is now Associate General Counsel at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute in Washington, D.C.
COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
2014 Fellow Yendelela Neely Anderson was recently appointed by Mayor Kasim Reed to the Local Workforce Investment Board for the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency (“AWDA”). The AWDA “exists to contribute to the economic security of Atlanta’s workers, businesses and communities through a comprehensive statewide system of employment services, education and regulation of health, safety and employment laws.” In addition to this appointment, Yendelela transitioned from the Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society in January 2015. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Families First and the Chair of the Atlanta Advisory Committee for Jumpstart.

RICK PALMORE LCLD FELLOWS LEADERSHIP AWARD - Seeking Nominations
The Fellows Alumni are now accepting nominations for the inaugural Rick Palmore LCLD Fellows Leadership Award. The Executive Council of the LCLD Fellows Alumni created this award as a way to celebrate Rick Palmore's contributions to LCLD and to award LCLD Fellows Alumni who have benefited the LCLD Fellows as a community and diverse attorneys generally. Please note that members of the Fellows Alumni Executive Council are not eligible to receive the award.

LEADERSHIP LUNCH PLUS - YUM! BRANDS: April 13, 2015
Registration is now open for the April 13, 2015, Leadership Lunch Plus in Louisville, Kentucky. The lunch is hosted by Christian Campbell, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Franchise Policy Officer at Yum! Brands, Inc. (parent company of KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut), with his guests John Selent, Managing Partner of the Louisville office of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and member of the firm's Board of Directors, and George Yund, the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of Frost Brown Todd LLC. After lunch, Fellows will tour the Yum! Brands headquarters, and participate in an activity relevant to and designed specifically for this event.
