Did You Know?  
Following the retirement of The Most Interesting Man in the World, an LCLD Fellow was named as the replacement!  

2014 Fellow Yendelela Neely Anderson was elected to join the Board of Trustees of Furman University, her alma mater.  

2014 Fellow Effie D. Silva was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Read more here.  

2013 Fellow Brian Woolfolk is now Principal at Swan Creek Strategies.  

2012 Fellow David Crump is now Director, Compliance & Ethics, Investigations at Bristol-Myers Squibb.  

2012 Fellow Vernessa Pollard is now a partner at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP.

2011 Fellow Vanessa L. Allen Sutherland has "won widespread praise for improving both the moral and the professionalism of [the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board]," according to a recent press release from the CSB.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS 

2016 Fellow Jacqueline Mallett and her daughter volunteer at the Ohio Wildlife Center every Saturday, taking care of animals at OWC's Education Center. "I enjoy doing this volunteer work because the animals are so grateful and it is so different from the practice of law," Jackie said. "No sitting behind a desk if you are a wildlife biologist or zoologist... We are in our third year of volunteering there every Saturday morning!" Jackie is pictured at left with Mr. Chukkers, a groundhog with permanent amnesia.

2013 Fellow Kyle Ferachi will be running in the New York City Marathon to raise money for the Tug McGraw Foundation, a nonprofit that raises money for childrens and adults with debilitating neuroscience conditions. Click here to help Kyle reach his goal and follow his journey to the finish line.

NEW DOWNLOADABLE FEATURE ON FELLOWS DIRECTORY 

Do you need a list of Fellows in your area to invite to an event? Would you like to connect with other Fellows in your practice area? A new feature in the Fellows Directory allows you to download a sortable, printable list of all LCLD Fellows, including position, location, contact information, law school, practice area, and more. 

To get the downloadable .csv (Excel) file of your results, click the new "Login" button (see instructions here) and enter the password. For security reasons, you must request the password as needed, directly from Stephanie UzelCaitlin Puffenberger, or Jessica Smith, as the password will change periodically. 

If you don't need to download your search results, you may continue to use the directory the way that you have always used it—without logging in.

LCLD PATHFINDER WELCOME RECEPTION:  Indianapolis, IN - March 31, 2016

Indianapolis-area Fellows are invited to the LCLD 2016 Pathfinder First Meeting Welcome Reception at the iMOCA Gallery of The Alexander hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana from 6 - 8 p.m. on March 31. The Alexander Hotel is located at 333 South Delaware Street.  RSVP to Stella Askin by Thursday, March 24, 2016.

PANEL SPEAKERS NEEDED - LAVENDER LAW 2015 CAREER SERVICES AND JOB SEARCH STRATEGIES FOR LAW STUDENTS: Washington, DC - August 6, 2016

Are you planning to attend the 2016 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair? Would you like to speak to students to provide tips for success? This panel, moderated by LCLD Program Director Lori Lorenzo, will include lawyers from law firms, in-house legal departments, government, and non-profit organizations. The National LGBT Bar Association currently needs speakers for this panel which will take place on Saturday, August 6, from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. VISITING WOMEN EXECUTIVE EXCHANGE PROGRAM: Yale University School of Management - September 11 - 15, 2016
