The Washington, D.C. office of Littler Mendelson P.C. hosted a Spring Group Mentoring Program Event on April 6, 2016, which featured a networking reception for D.C.-area LCLD Mentor attorneys and Mentee law students. Alison Davis, the D.C. Office Managing Shareholder, was also in attendance.

The highlight of the evening was a presentation by Chris De Santis, a masterful voice on professional and organizational development who has spoken at events for LCLD Members, Fellows, and Pathfinders. Speaking on the topic of, “A Protégé's Guide to Mentoring,” De Santis treated the 40 attendees to lively tips on how mentees can build relationships with assigned mentors by understanding the generational and experiential differences between them, and how to ask questions that delve below surface conversations.
