WELCOME TO THE MONTHLY PATHFINDER NEWSLETTER

"Pathways" is distributed to current and alumni Pathfinders each month and features program news and information, alerts of
upcoming events, and updates on your fellow Pathfinders to help you get the most out of your involvement in the LCLD Pathfinder Program. Past Pathways newsletters are archived on the LCLD website.

We want to hear from you! If you received a promotion, changed jobs, are engaged in community service, or have a practice-related publication, we want to share it. If you plan to host a Pathfinder Meet-Up, or are attending a national or regional event and want to connect with other Pathfinders while traveling, let us know. Email newsletter submissions to Caitlin Puffenberger or Walt Lohmann.

WORTH A READ:
MANAGING THE HIGH-INTENSITY WORKPLACE

Harvard Business Review

People typically rely on one of three strategies to respond to a high-pressure workplace: accepting its demands; quietly balancing work with other commitments; or expressing unwillingness to allow work to constantly supersede other commitments. Each strategy has its own benefits and challenges. However, the ideal manager accepts that employees can lead more balanced lives and still perform well at work. Read the full story here
