2017 Fellow Taj Clayton is now Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP. 

2016 Fellow Guillermo Christensen will be a keynote speaker at the March 28-29 SINET ITSEF 2017 conference in Silicon Valley, discussing China's new cybersecurity law and opportunities for U.S. companies.

2016 Fellow Sarah Godley is now Director of Privacy, Americas at eBay Inc. 

2015 Fellow Dinesh Melwani was elected to the Board of Directors of the PTAB Bar Association. 

2014 Fellow Wasif Qureshi recently published an article entitled "Supplier Agreements Should Include Patent Litigation Protection" in Today's General Counsel. Read more here.  

2014 Fellow Effie Silva was named one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Florida and one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Miami by Super Lawyers

2013 Fellow Heather Hubbard is hosting a new podcast for lawyers – Hustle & Flow with Heather Hubbard. Each week, she addresses a topic related to “hustle” (such as marketing, business development, confidence, leadership, negotiations) or “flow” (such as mindfulness, balance, motivation, meditation, well-being, happiness). She’s also tackling tough topics such as retention, promotion, and unconscious bias. You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or listen here

2011 Fellow Vanessa Allen Sutherland will be honored by The University of Richmond on March 22 as the recipient of the annual Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Award. The award is for professionals who have paved the way for future leaders with diverse backgrounds who may need a present day giant to look toward as a benchmark for how to properly navigate and excel in a competitive employment climate.

ELI LILLY & CO. LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Indianapolis, IN - April 19-20, 2017 

Registration remains open for 2017 Fellows and Fellows Alumni to visit the Indianapolis headquarters of Eli Lilly & Co. for a Learning Experience hosted by LCLD Board Member Michael Harrington, Senior Vice President and General Counsel. 1L SCHOLARS MOCK INTERVIEWS: Philadelphia, PA - May 23, 2017 

Do you want to help diverse first year law students gain valuable practice and feedback for on-campus interviews? LCLD is recruiting attorneys to hold mock interviews this spring as part of the 1L Scholars Summit. Mock interviews will take place at the law offices of Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET on May 23 and will run in 30-minute intervals. DIVERSE COMMUNITIES IN WASHINGTON: Washington, DC - March 30, 2017 

The DC Attorneys of Color Affinity Group presents "Diverse Communities in Washington DC," a look at the African-American community on U Street in the early 1900s featuring a viewing of "Black Broadway on U." EQUAL JUSTICE INITIATIVE ANNUAL DINNER: New York, NY - April 5, 2017 

The Equal Justice Initiative Annual Dinner will be held Wednesday, April 5, at 6 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The 2017 Energy Arbitration Conference, presented by the North America Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, will be held April 28 in Houston, Texas.
