Events and Opportunities of Interest
LCLD/CPR/FINRA MEDIATION/ARBITRATION TRAINING PROGRAM
This program, which has trained 11 Fellows to date, is intended to provide program participants with early skills development and unique access to professional development opportunities in dispute resolution through: (a) formal training in mediation and arbitration skills and practical observational experience; (b) mentoring by skilled neutrals, and (c) networking opportunities within CPR’s commercial dispute resolution community. Our goal would be to create meaningful opportunities for program participants to become qualified as neutrals and better positioned to become neutrals of choice. Our program will commence in late fall with a kick-off event (Oct. 3 in NYC), continue with FINRA and other training in the Fall, CPR’s Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on February 28-March 2, 2019 and more programs throughout 2019 before culminating with CPR’s Annual Meeting in 2020. This program, at a minimal cost of $750 for the entire program, is ideal for Fellows in the Mid-Atlantic although we welcome all Fellows who are interested in participating. For more info or to apply, email herickson@cpradr.org.
