2018 Fellow Adraea Brown has been promoted to Senior Trademark Counsel at Harley-Davidson, Inc. 

2018 Fellow Yesenia Cárdenas has been named a Top Latino Lawyer by Latino Leaders magazine. Read more here

2017 Fellow Will Perry has been selected for the Tennessee Bar Association's 2019 Leadership Law program.  

2017 Fellow Cassandra Soltis has moved to Bayne & Associates, where she is Of Counsel. 

2017 Fellow Cassandra Soltis, 2018 Fellow Kristopher Clemmons, and 2016 Pathfinder Aneesh Mehta worked with others at Microsoft, Starbucks, Baker McKenzie, and the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth to create a Parole Preparation Toolkit for individuals who were sentenced to life without parole as children but who now have a second chance at freedom, thanks to positive changes in state laws and recent U.S. Supreme Court cases. The Parole Toolkit was launched last month at the Campaign’s annual convening, held in Google’s Washington, DC offices. Click here to view the Toolkit.

2015 Fellow Tony Dent has been promoted to Assistant General Counsel - Internal Operations at Harley-Davidson, Inc. 

2015 Fellow Val Mathelier has been promoted to Senior Director, U.S. Legal Department and Regional Counsel, Nordics at McDonald's Corporation.

2014 Fellow Caldwell Camero has been promoted to Senior Global Trademark Counsel at Fluke Corporation. 

2014 Fellow Carolyne Beaty Hilton has been promoted to Senior Managing Counsel, Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company.

2014 Fellows William Toles has been promoted to Senior Partner at Fee, Smith, Sharp & Vitullo LLP. 

2013 Fellow Reena Bajowala is the winner of the Public Interest Law Institute Initiative Fellow Alumni Award. Read more here.

Fellows Events and Opportunities 

LPL FINANCIAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Charlotte, NC - February 6-7, 2019 

Registration is now open to all Fellows for a Learning Experience at the Charlotte, NC campus of LPL Financial. The event will be hosted by LCLD Member Michelle Oroschakoff, Chief Legal & Risk Officer. An LCLD Member Law Firm (TBA) will host a Welcome Event on February 6, 2019. RSVPs should come directly to Nichole Velasquez, Fellows Program Manager, and include your name, organization, Fellowship year, and any dietary restrictions.

"ON THE BASIS OF SEX" MOVIE SCREENING: Multiple dates locations! 

All Fellows are invited to attend a screening of "On the Basis of Sex," based on the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Three screenings will be held:

HAPPY HOUR AND TOY DRIVE: Boston, MA - December 20, 2018, at 4 p.m.
