2018 Fellow Whitney Remily has moved to Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where she is Counsel.
2017 Fellow Lynnette Espy-Williams was selected as one of Spelman College's 40 Under 40 Fierce and Fabulous Alumnae.
2017 Fellow Venroy July recently published an article entitled "Opportunity Funds: Incentive for Investment in Underrepresented Founders." Read more here.
2016 Fellow Arooj Sheikh has been promoted to Senior Legal Counsel at Abercrombie & Fitch Co.

2018 Fellows Announcements
LPL FINANCIAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Charlotte, NC - February 6-7, 2019
2018 Fellows who have not yet attended a Learning Experience may now register for a Learning Experience at the Charlotte, NC campus of LPL Financial. The event will be hosted by LCLD Member Michelle Oroschakoff, Chief Legal & Risk Officer. An LCLD Member Law Firm (TBA) will host a Welcome Event on February 6, 2019. RSVPs should come directly to Nichole Velasquez, Fellows Program Manager, and include your name, organization, Fellowship year, and any dietary restrictions.
Fellows Alumni and other 2018 Fellows may RSVP beginning on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

"ON THE BASIS OF SEX" MOVIE SCREENING: Multiple dates locations!
All Fellows are invited to attend a screening of "On the Basis of Sex," based on the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Three screenings will be held:
- Meridian 16: Seattle, WA - December 13, 2018, at 5: 30 p.m. PT
- The Landmark Westside Pavilion: Los Angeles, CA - December 18, 2018, at 6:15 p.m. PT

FELLOWS ALUMNI SPEAKER SERIES: GENERAL COUNSEL ROUNDTABLE: Miami, FL - December 12, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. ET
All Fellows are invited to attend a general counsel roundtable with leaders in a variety of industries, including Ruchi Kaushal, General Counsel for Cable & Wireless Communications; Ellen Malasky, Assistant General Counsel at Florida Power and Light; Richard Tong, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at NV5 Global, Inc.; and Nisha Bhatia, General Counsel for Pensam Residential. In the spirit of the holidays, attendees are asked to bring new, unwrapped gifts for senior citizens who attend programs at the Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA in the Tenderloin. Senior citizens are one of the most vulnerable populations in the city and are often overlooked during the holiday season. You may also bring a check written to the Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA if you prefer to give a monetary donation. Click here for details.
HAPPY HOUR AND TOY DRIVE: Boston, MA - December 20, 2018, at 4 p.m.
LCLD and the Hispanic National Bar Association invite you to bring a new, unwrapped toy or game to a happy hour toy drive on Thursday, December 20. The event will be held at the Boston office of LCLD Member firm Manning Gross + Massenburg LLP. Click here for more information and to register.
