Did you know? 
We're still looking for Corporate LCLD Members to host 2019 Learning Experiences!

2018 Fellow Michelle Mitchell-Bromfman has been promoted to Director, Legal Operations & Associate General Counsel--Labor & Employment at Peabody Energy.

2018 Fellow Lee Hutton has opened his own firm, Hutton Kluz Evans LLC.

2018 Fellow Ann McDowell was promoted to Associate Director - Legal at EDP Renewables North America LLC.

2018 Fellow Robin Nunn has moved to Dechert LLP, where she is Chair of the Consumer Financial Services practice.  

2017 Fellow Aldo Ibarra was promoted to Partner at Nixon Peabody LLP. Read more here.

2014 Fellow Le Lam has moved to American Airlines, Inc., where he is Associate General Counsel--Corporate Finance.

2014 Fellow Jamila Mensah was promoted to Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

2012 Fellow Carlos Rainer and 2011 Fellow Laura Maechtlen are presenters for In-House Focus (IHF), a newly-launched company creating CLE programming for in-house lawyers. IHF is also focused on providing diversity-fueled educational content. Read more here.

Learning Experiences are one of the main components of the Fellows Program. These events give Fellows the opportunity to get an insider’s look into an LCLD Member Corporation. LCLD is seeking Corporate Members to host Learning Experiences in 2019. If you think your organization would be willing to host, please reach out to Nichole Velasquez

LPL FINANCIAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Charlotte, NC - February 6-7, 2019 

Registration remains open for all Fellows for a Learning Experience at the Charlotte, NC campus of LPL Financial. The event will be hosted by LCLD Member Michelle Oroschakoff, Chief Legal & Risk Officer. An LCLD Member Law Firm (TBA) will host a Welcome Event on February 6, 2019. RSVPs should come directly to Nichole Velasquez, Fellows Program Manager, and include your name, organization, Fellowship year, and any dietary restrictions.

LEADERSHIP LUNCH: Chicago, IL - February 11, 2019, at 12 p.m. CT

All Fellows are invited to join  Kevin Burke, Chairman of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Chad Walker, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Morton Salt, Inc. (and 2012 LCLD Fellow), and Rana Wright, General Counsel of Harris Associates (and 2011 LCLD Fellow) for a Leadership Lunch on Monday, February 11, 2019.  The Lunch will take place at the Chicago office of Hinshaw & Culbertson (151 North Franklin Street, Suite 2500, Chicago, IL 60606). Click here for more information. All Fellows are invited to attend a Lunch hosted by David White, Managing Partner of Burns White LLP, and several senior leaders from FedEx Ground, including Cary Blancett, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Joe Milcoff, Vice President of Litigation and Risk Management, and Dick Heiser, Vice President of Workforce Support (Legal).
