2018 Fellow Shara Chang has moved to Facebook, where she is Associate General Counsel, Privacy and Product. 

2018 Fellow Deborah Spanic has moved to Clarios, where she is Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.  

2018 Fellow Cate Heaven Young has moved to Jostens, Inc., where she is General Counsel.  

2017 Fellow Richard Lopez has moved to The Boeing Company, where he is Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment. 

2017 Fellow Nicholas Ranjan was confirmed by the U.S. Senate for a District Judge position on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Read more here.  

2016 Fellow Jason Barnwell was named among the Fastcase 50, an award that honors “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries, and leaders.” Read more here.  

2016 Fellow Bryan Cho was named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural Nation’s Best List. Bryan was also elected to and serves on the Board of Trustees of the American College of Investment Counsel.

2016 Fellow Steve Flores was named Latino Lawyer of the Year by the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. Read more here.  

2016 Fellow Lori Mahmoud was promoted to Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel at BB&T Corporation. 

2014 Fellow Joe Hanna was named to the Mediator Panel for the U.S. Distrcit Court for the Western District of New York. Read more here

2013 Fellow Eric Fikry was recently appointed to the New Jersey Superior Court. 

2011 Fellow Juan Arteaga received the Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award from the New York City Bar Association. Read more here

2011 Fellow Grace Yang was sworn in as the President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is the association's first Asian American president (male or female) and the ninth female president in the county bar association's history. Read more here.

SHEPPARD MULLIN RECEPTION: New York, NY - July 17, 2019 

All Fellows are invited to attend a reception hosted by Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP on Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30 p.m. The reception will take place at the firm's office located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY, 10112. The reception is part of the Leadership Lunch PLUS event being held the next day at the campus of Pepsi. However, you do not have to be attending that event to come to the reception. All are welcome! LCLD MENTOR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Attorneys at LCLD Member organizations may now register to become Mentors as part of the 2019-2020 LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program. In the fall, registered Mentors will be matched with diverse, first-year law students in major cities across the country. We look forward to working with your organization as part of the Mentoring Program this year! TWIN CITIES MARATHON TEAM - October 2019

The unofficial LCLD marathon team is at it again! We’re running “the most beautiful urban marathon in America,” the Twin Cities Marathon, in October 2019. Our team is, as yet, small but committed. We hope you’ll consider joining us—whatever your experience level. It is a fun race, and the Twin Cities are home to a number of LCLD Member organizations and Fellows. Posting of Job Opportunities in the Fellows Weekly Announcements

We welcome job postings from our Member organizations to be featured in the Fellows Weekly announcements (FWA) at no cost. All positions must either require a J.D. degree or explicitly state that a J.D. degree is preferred, in addition to at least seven (7) years of experience. Associate level positions (or equivalent) are not posted in the FWA.

Postings will remain in the FWA for four (4) consecutive weeks and then be removed. You may request one posting renewal for an additional four (4) weeks. Opportunities received in accordance with the policy prior to 5 p.m. ET on Sunday will be posted in the Fellows Weekly Announcements released on the following Tuesday.*
