2019 Fellow Tracey Salmon-Smith was elected to the Board of Directors of Women Creating Change (WCC), formerly Women’s City Club of New York.

2017 Fellow Jasmine McMullen has moved to Netflix, where she is Director of Business & Legal Affairs.
2016 Fellow Ray Sheen has moved to Farella Braun + Martel LLP, where he is Partner.
2015 Fellow Darren Teshima was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus, which was founded in 1972 and is the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization serving low-income Asian Pacific American communities.
2014 Fellow Joe Hanna was recognized by the Department of Veteran Affairs for his outstanding contribution to local veterans with his nonprofit organization Bunkers in Baghdad. Read more here.

Attorneys at LCLD Member organizations may now register to become Mentors as part of the 2019-2020 LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program. In the fall, registered Mentors will be matched with diverse, first-year law students in major cities across the country. TWIN CITIES MARATHON TEAM - October 2019
The unofficial LCLD marathon team is at it again! We’re running “the most beautiful urban marathon in America,” the Twin Cities Marathon, in October 2019. Our team is, as yet, small but committed. We hope you’ll consider joining us—whatever your experience level. It is a fun race, and the Twin Cities are home to a number of LCLD Member organizations and Fellows. We welcome job postings from our Member organizations to be featured in the Fellows Weekly announcements (FWA) at no cost. All positions must either require a J.D. degree or explicitly state that a J.D. degree is preferred, in addition to at least seven (7) years of experience. Associate level positions (or equivalent) are not posted in the FWA.
Postings will remain in the FWA for four (4) consecutive weeks and then be removed. You may request one posting renewal for an additional four (4) weeks. Opportunities received in accordance with the policy prior to 5 p.m. ET on Sunday will be posted in the Fellows Weekly Announcements released on the following Tuesday.*
