What to Expect During the Pathfinder Program

Program Themes

Throughout your 2023 Pathfinder year, you will be exposed to a variety of topics meant to help guide and strengthen your career trajectory. The key themes that you will explore in-depth include: Strategic Career Planning, Self-Awareness, Effective Communication, Prioritization, Navigating Workplace Dynamics, and Networking.

Program Components

During the program, you will participate in Class Meetings, online experiential learning, a regional session, and Peer Circles with your fellow Pathfinders. You will also be supported by a Program Facilitator, who is a member of the LCLD Alumni, throughout the program. Click here to learn more about how all of these components work together to create the LCLD Pathfinder experience.

Events for Pathfinders

In addition to Class Meetings and virtual sessions, Pathfinders have access to a variety of events throughout the year, including both substantive and relationship-building opportunities. You may register for upcoming Pathfinder events here, or visit the LCLD Events Calendar and select the “Pathfinder” filter.

3. Claim and Update Your LCLD Directory Profile

Within the next few months, we will be launching a new LCLD Directory platform. When this launches, you will need to claim and complete your new profile.

In the meantime, we encourage you to claim and update your profile in the current LCLD Directory. This allows your classmates, LCLD, and Alumni of the Pathfinder and Fellows programs to learn more about you. In addition, LCLD Alumni use the directory as a resource for seeking advice and referring business. Building your LCLD network starts with building your directory profile. Click here to locate and claim your profile.

Search for your name in the Keyword field, click on your profile, and then click the Claim this Profile button. You will then be emailed additional instructions. After you have claimed your profile, be sure to update it with a photo, all areas in which you practice, and a brief bio. Here's just one example of a well-done profile.

For questions about claiming your profile, visit our help page or contact directory@lcldnet.com.
