Leadership Positions

I am currently the Assistant Treasurer for the Delaware State Bar Association (term July 2017 through June 2018). I am also the Secretary for the Women and the Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association (term July 2017 through June 2019). I was recently selected as a Business Law Fellow of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section. The Fellows Program represents a commitment by the Business Law Section to encourage the participation of young lawyers, lawyers of color, LGBT lawyers and lawyers with disabilities in Section activities. Participants in the program are provided a path to Section Leadership though unique leadership positions within their substantive Committees and the Business Law Fellows Committee. Additionally, Fellows are introduced to the Section's structure and opportunities for leadership. I was selected to participate in the 2016 Next Generation Program of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges. I am a co-author on two chapters of the recently published Reorganizing Failing Businesses (3d ed.): Fiduciary Duties of Financially Troubled Corporations, co-authored with C.J. Myron T. Steele (Ret.) and Rafael X. Zahralddin-Aravena and Collective Bargaining Agreements, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, co-authored with Albert Togut, Neil Berger and Rafael X. Zahralddin-Aravena. I recently presented at a webinar hosted by Financial Poise: Inside Counsel Insider Series/Corporate and Regulatory Compliance 1.0 - Executive Compensation. I have also presented at various conferences on all phases and aspects of litigation from pre-Complaint investigation through trial.
