 UNITED HEALTH GROUP LEARNING EXPERIENCE - June 16-17

We are excited to announce the upcoming Fellows Learning Experience at UnitedHealth Group in Minnetonka, MN on Monday, June 16th and Tuesday, June 17th.  Registration is based on a first-come, first-serve RSVP response with priority for the 2014 Fellows. If you're interested in attending, please e-mail Stephanie Uzel as soon as possible. Information including the agenda, hotel information, welcome dinner details, and transportation will be sent out under separate email for those Fellows attending the event.

 GUEST COLUMNIST OPPORTUNITY

LCLD invites you to author a guest column for the Success in Law School Connections publication.  This publication goes to approximately 2000 law firm and corporate attorney Mentors and 1L Mentees every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November).  Connections articles are 500-750 words and can be on any topic that you think is relevant to law school 1L Mentees and/or lawyer Mentors.  Here is a link to archived Connections newsletters if you want to check out guest columns that have been published in previous editions.

Potential Topics for July include the following (although authors are not limited to these topics)

  • On-campus recruiting in the fall . . . and beyond (what to do if you don’t get a job)

  • Tips for staying in touch with your summer employer once you go back to school

  • Electives for 2L year … clinics, externships, clerkships

2014 Diversity and Inclusion Summit
