COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
2013 Fellow Lica Tomizuka serves on the Board of Directors of MacPhail Center for Music, a non-profit music education center serving underserved communities in Minnesota. She was also recently appointed the Chair of the Advisory Board for Youth for Cultural Appreciation and Racial Equality (YouthCARE). Lica received YouthCARE's 2015 Bruce A. Palmer Distinguished Volunteer Service Award.
2012 Fellow Danielle Ducre Rawls also serves on the board of YouthCARE.

FELLOWS ALUMNI - ARE YOU ALL IN?
When the Executive Council asked Fellows Alumni if they would be willing to support the program with an annual contribution, the overwhelming response was, "We're All In!" Funding is crucial for the strength and growth of the Fellows Alumni association, so the EC asks each of you to make a personal commitment of $125.

LCLD PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The LCLD Program Development Committee's mission is to increase Fellows' interaction with other LCLD program participants and among each other, by organizing networking events and substantive programming. These events play an important role in keeping the LCLD family together. Over the next year, you will receive emails from the committee asking you to volunteer to lead and plan the following events:
• Regional Roundtable in your city with a General Counsel or Managing Partner in February 2016
• Graduation Happy Hour for the 2015 Fellows in April 2016
• 1L Scholars Program Networking Event in June 2016
• Leadership Lunch Happy Hours throughout the program year

MIDWEST FELLOWS ANNUAL TOY DRIVE: Dec. 14, 2015
The ability to pay it forward and impact the lives of the less fortunate is a key tenet of being an LCLD Fellows. In that spirit, Midwest Fellows are asking individuals and/or their firms to provide Target gift cards or toys for children in need at the Lydia Home. Gift cards/toys will be collected at a holiday event for Fellows on December 10 (details to come) or they can be dropped off at the Lydia Home at 4300 W. CORPORATE COUNSEL INTENSIVE INSTITUTE - Boulder, CO: Jan. 4 - 8, 2016
The University of Colorado Law School will host the second Corporate Counsel Intensive Institute (CCII) Jan. 4-8, 2015 in Boulder, Colorado. CCII is an intensive one-week course designed to immerse prospective or new in-house counsel in the best practices of being an effective and strategic in-house counsel. NBACLS ANNUAL CORPORATE COUNSEL CONFERENCE - Scottsdale, AZ: Feb. 18 - 20, 2016
Registration is now open for the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section's 29th Annual Corporate Counsel Conference.
