Did You Know? 
LCLD Founder Rick Palmore issued a challenge to Fellows Alumni.

2016 Fellow Bryan Cho is co-chairing the American College of Investment Counsel's annual meeting and education conference in New York on October 20-21. Bryan is also now Assistant General Counsel in MetLife's Law Department. 

2015 Fellow Rakesh Gopalan is now Chair of McGuireWoods' Asian Pacific Lawyers Network.  

2015 Fellow Shelia Mortazavi is now a partner at Andrews Kurth LLP. She was also voted one of the Top Women in Law 2016 by the New York Law Journal.  Read more here

2015 Fellow Stacey Song is now Attorney Adviser at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

LCLD ANNUAL MEETING WELCOME RECEPTION - Chicago, IL: October 5, 2016

Chicago-area Fellows are invited to attend the LCLD Annual Meeting Welcome Reception on Wednesday, October 5, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at The Peninsula Chicago, located at 108 E. Superior Street. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Stella Askin at saskin@lcldnet.com. You do not need to RSVP if you are a 2016 Fellow. 

SCRIPPS NETWORKS INTERACTIVE, INC. LEARNING EXPERIENCE:  Knoxville, TN - October 17-18, 2016 

A few spots remain open for Fellows from all classes to attend the Learning Experience at Scripps Networks Interactive, home of several popular cable networks including, HGTVFood Network, and The Travel Channel Inc. The Learning Experience will be hosted by Cynthia Gibson, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc., on October 17-18 in Knoxville, Tennessee and will feature insights from company leadership on the business of producing and distributing compelling lifestyle content. The Learning Experience will kick off on October 17th with a welcome event hosted by Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC at Neyland Stadium, home of the University of Tennessee football team. LCLD FELLOWS CRUISE: January 13-16, 2017 

Please join your LCLD Fellows for the LCLD Inaugural 3-Day Cruise for MLK weekend (Jan. 13-16) from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island. It is an all-inclusive cruise, i.e., all drinks are included.  Although we see each other at the Alumni Conference, a group of us in Chicago though it would be nice to see each other on a more frequent basis.  Therefore, we planned a cruise. All Fellows and their families are invited. TEXAS MINORITY COUNSEL PROGRAM SAVE-THE-DATE RECEPTIONS: Multiple locations - August 30 - September 28, 2016

The Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP) is a client development, networking, and CLE event for attorneys in Texas. Save-the-Date Receptions are networking events held in major cities throughout Texas during the months leading up to the annual conference. These receptions provide an excellent opportunity to network with local legal professionals while learning more about the TMCP.
