2016 -2017 ADVOCACY PROGRAM KICK-OFF
October will mark the 4th installment of the LCLD Fellows Advocacy Program. The program, designed to assist Fellows from all classes advocate on behalf of each other in their careers, will kick-off in late October. 2016 Fellow Guillermo Christensen will be discussing “Cybersecurity: An Enterprise Risk Management Approach” on October 19, 2016 to the American Public Power Association’s Legal & Regulatory Conference in Long Beach California. On October 25, he will also be speaking on “Managing Your Risks from Hackers and Insiders” at the Baker Botts October CLE program described below in the Opportunities and Events of Interest section.

Baker Botts October CLE program “Business As Unusual? The Impact of the Election, Geopolitics, Cyber Threats and New Regulations in a Year of Transition” will be hosted in Baker Botts’ DC office.
