Did You Know? 
LCLD Member organizations have just one more week to nominate 2017 1L Scholars. 

2016 Fellow Steve Flores has been appointed to the Chicago Police Board. The Police Board's powers and responsibilities include deciding disciplinary cases involving allegations of police misconduct. The members of the Police Board are private citizens appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. 

2016 Fellow Evandro Gigante is now Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP. Read more here

2014 Fellow Shiau Yen Chin-Dennis was selected as a 2016 "Women of Vision" Honoree by the Daily Journal of Commerce. Read more here

2013 Fellows Lawrence Dietrich and Mara Garcia Kaplan participated on a panel entitled "The In-House Counsel Perspective" at the Perrin Conferences Diversity & Inclusion Conference in Philadelphia last week. Read more here

LCLD FELLOWS CRUISE: Jan. 13-16, 2017 

Please join your LCLD Fellows for the LCLD Inaugural 3-Day Cruise for MLK weekend (Jan. 13-16) from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island. It is an all-inclusive cruise, i.e., all drinks are included.  Although we see each other at the Alumni Conference, a group of us in Chicago though it would be nice to see each other on a more frequent basis.  Therefore, we planned a cruise.
