Registration is now open for the LCLD 2017 Fellows Second Meeting at the Willard InterContinental hotel in Washington, D.C. SIGN UP FOR THE ADVOCACY GROUP PROGRAM TODAY!
The Fellows Alumni Advocacy Group Program is a unique take on peer-to-peer mentoring. Advocacy Groupps regulary hold 30-minute conference calls during which members do an intensive and confidential review of the career of a single Fellow, based on the Fellow's summary of his/her career history and goals. Members also take steps to assist the Fellow in reaching their goals. The Advocacy Group cycle lasts approximately six months. CALLING ALL D.C. FELLOWS!
The 2017 Pathfinders will have their final meeting in Washington, D.C. in November and we’d like to invite you to be part of the action. On Friday, November 3, from 2-6 p.m. we will be hosting a session called “What Got You Here Won’t Get You There”. The session is described here. It will start as a facilitated discussion, led by LCLD teaching faculty Elise Holtzman, and then break into coffee chats sorted by topic and hosted by you, the LCLD Fellows. We want the coffee chats to be a no-holds-barred conversation and we’d like you to be willing to share real life stories of your successes and failures relating to the topic you sign up for. FELLOWS SPEAKERS NEEDED: Bethesda, MD - November 1, 2017
Are you a law firm partner that has built your book of business in a unique or unusual way? Or, maybe you built your book in the usual way? Either way, we want to hear from partners that have been in the partnership for more than 5 years and would be open to sharing their best advice for building a strong book of business with other Fellows. The panel presentation will take place during the second meeting of the Sustainable Partnerships program, a program designed by LCLD Members Fannie Mae, Scripps, and Lockheed Martin to help law firm Fellows that are new to partnership to build the networks and skills essential to growing a strong book of business. The Sustainable Partnerships presentation will take place on November 1, at Lockheed Martin in Bethesda, Maryland.
