2018 Fellow Parima Hassouri has moved to McDermott, Will & Emery, where she is Partner.
2016 Fellow Calvina Bostick was recognized by the National Bar Association among the nation’s top 40 lawyers under the age of 40. The awards recognize those who exemplify a broad range of high achievement in the legal field, including in advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership, and overall legal and community involvement.

2014 Fellow Shiau Yen Chin-Dennis accepted a Building Diversity Award from the Oregon Daily Journal of Commerce on behalf of K&L Gates’ Portland office's efforts in shaping the business environment through outstanding work, leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and promotion of diversity.
2014 Fellow Theresa Conduah has moved to dosist, a modern health and wellness company, where she is Vice President, Intellectual Property.
2014 Fellow Penelope Dixon has moved to Danone North America, where she is Associate General Counsel - Litigation.
2014 Fellow Anne Goodwin has moved to TMT Development Co., Inc., where she is Counsel.
2014 Fellow Mary Young–serving as national coordinating counsel–and her firm, Blackwell Burke P.A., won a landmark victory in the federal Bair HuggerTMMultidistrict Litigation (MDL) securing the dismissal of one of the ten largest MDLs in the country against their client. The MDL court granted motions to exclude the opinions of the plaintiffs’ experts and entered summary judgment dismissing more than 5,000 cases. Measured by the number of cases dismissed, the summary judgment win represents one of the largest-impact defense wins in history. Read more here.

The Fellows Alumni Advocacy Group Program is a unique take on peer-to-peer mentoring. Advocacy Groups regularly hold 30-minute conference calls during which members do an intensive and confidential review of the career of a single Fellow, based on the Fellow's summary of his/her career history and goals. Members also take steps to assist the Fellow in reaching their goals. The Advocacy Group cycle will last approximately eight months. CLE: THROUGH THE LENS OF THE U.S. CENSUS: New York, NY - October 21, 2019
New York area Fellows are invited to attend a CLE co-sponsored by Sheppard Mullin and Viacom in connection with the Viacom Learning experience. It will be from 4-5:30pm at Sheppard Mullin’s NY office on October 21 and there will be cocktails afterwards. The program is titled "Through the lens of the U.S. Census: A review of the fluctuating social, historical, and legal construction of race in the United States" and will feature speakers Monique Vogelsang, of Pollyanna, and Rena Andoh, of Sheppard Mullin. The unofficial LCLD marathon team is at it again! We’re running “the most beautiful urban marathon in America,” the Twin Cities Marathon, in October 2019. Our team is, as yet, small but committed. We welcome job postings from our Member organizations to be featured in the Fellows Weekly announcements (FWA) at no cost. Jobs must require at least seven (7) years of experience and state that a J.D. degree is required or preferred. Associate level positions (or equivalent) are not posted in the FWA.
Postings will remain in the FWA for four (4) consecutive weeks and then be removed. You may request one posting renewal for an additional four (4) weeks. Opportunities received in accordance with the policy prior to 5 p.m. ET on Sunday will be posted in the Fellows Weekly Announcements released on the following Tuesday.*
