The LCLD Fellows Program provides Fellows with the opportunities described below.
Class Meetings
Class Meetings include panels and guest speakers, individualized instruction and reflection, small group sessions, Accountability Partner exercises, and networking—all designed to help Fellows develop executive presence, self-awareness, management skills, and emotional intelligence. In 2023, both Class Meetings will be hosted in-person; the first one in San Diego, CA and the second in Washington, DC.
On-The-Road Regional Sessions
On-The-Road sessions are hosted in various cities across the country. Led by a subject expert, the sessions provide Fellows with the opportunity to focus on leadership, skill-development, and relationship building in a smaller group setting. Fellows are encouraged to attend an in-person On-The-Road session closest to their location. For Fellows unable to join in-person, a virtual session is offered.
Learning Experiences
Learning Experiences are interactive professional development events hosted by Member corporations, which provide opportunities for Fellows to build relationships with one another and interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations. In 2023, Learning Experiences will be offered virtually or in-person, depending on the session.
Leadership Lunches
Leadership Lunches are small group gatherings focused on the personal experiences and professional development advice of the featured General Counsel and Managing Partner hosts. These lunches provide great opportunities to network with preeminent leaders in the legal field. In 2023, Leadership Lunches will be offered virtually or in-person, depending on the session.
Alumni Program
The LCLD Alumni Program has a national network of 4,000+ Alumni, offering national, regional, and local opportunities for networking and substantive leadership-development training. Graduates of both Fellows and Pathfinder programs become LCLD Alumni upon completing their program year.
