Alumni Announcements

FELLOWS ALUMNI: ARE YOU ALL IN?

With more than 1,000 members, the Fellows Alumni community is poised to have a big impact on the legal profession. But in order to make that change happen, Fellows need to share ideas, open networks, learn from other organizations, and much more. The "All In!" campaign helps make that possible.

To make your contribution this year, click here. Please note that:

  • There is a $4.04 convenience fee associated with using PayPal. If you prefer not to pay a convenience fee and pay by check, please email Courtney Nolde, Fellows Alumni Program Manager at LCLD.
  • You don't need a PayPal account to use PayPal to make your contribution.  Look for the “Don’t have a PayPal Account?” message and follow the simple instructions.

If you would like to host an event in your area, the Fellows Alumni Association has set aside funds from last year's campaign to support you. For more information on how to request funding, click here. If you have questions, please contact Fellows Alumni Programs Committee Co-Chairs Jin Liu and Lica Tomizuka

For questions about the "All In!" campaign, please contact Patrice Jean at patrice.jean@hugheshubbard.com, or Jason DeJonker at jason.dejonker@bryancave.com.

EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY! LCLD/CPR/FINRA MEDIATION/ARBITRATION TRAINING PROGRAM

This program, offered exclusively to LCLD Fellows and Alumni by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, is intended to provide program participants with early skills development and unique access to professional development opportunities in dispute resolution through: (a) formal training in mediation and arbitration skills and practical observational experience; (b) mentoring by skilled neutrals, and (c) networking opportunities within CPR’s commercial dispute resolution community. Our goal would be to create meaningful opportunities for program participants to become qualified as neutrals and better positioned to become neutrals of choice. Our program will commence in late fall with a kick-off event, continue with training in the Fall and culminate at CPR’s Annual Meeting in Atlanta on March 8-10, 2018. There is a minimal program participation fee, which has been discounted for LCLD Fellows and Alumni. The 2017 program is open to Fellows in the Southeast US.  For more info or to express interest in participating, email Helena Tavares Erickson, Senior Vice President, Dispute Resolution Services & Corporate Secretary at herickson@cpradr.org
