LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Target Corporation - Minneapolis, MN - July 9-10, 2019
On July 10, 2019, Don Liu, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Target Corporation, will welcome the LCLD Fellows to Target's headquarters in Minneapolis, MN for a Learning Experience. LCLD Member Law Firms Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Gray Plant Mooty will host a Welcome Event at the Guthrie Theater on July 9, 2019.
Current 2019 Fellows attending their first Learning Experience may RSVP beginning on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm ET. RSVPs should come directly to Nichole Velasquez, Fellows Program Manager, and include your name, organization, Fellowship year, and any dietary restrictions. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ON A WAITLIST FOR THIS EVENT.

Fellows and Pathfinders at a Speaker Series event on May 14 hosted by Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
LEARNING EXPERIENCE: Exelon Corporation - Baltimore, MD - May 21-22, 2019
Exelon Corporation Senior Vice-President and General Counsel Thomas O'Neill will welcome the LCLD Fellows to Exelon's Corporate Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, for a unique full two-day Learning Experience on May 21-22, 2019. Day One will include a presentation and tour of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station. Afterwards, Fellows will be transported to the Conowingo Hydroelectric Generating Station for a presentation and tour. The day will end with a baseball game hosted by Exelon and McGuireWoods at a private suite at Camden Yards where Baltimore's beloved Orioles will take on some team from New York. Day Two will be at Exelon's HQ and feature a session with Exelon's President and CEO Christopher Crane, a tour of Constellation's trading floor, among other substantive sessions with Exelon leaders and Fellows.

LCLD Fellows are invited to join Stefan John, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of BASF North America, and Gary Wingens, Chairman and Managing Partner of Lowenstein Sandler LLP for a Leadership Lunch on Friday, June 14, 2019. FELLOWS NEEDED TO CONDUCT 1L SCHOLARS MOCK INTERVIEWS: Atlanta, GA - Register by May 24, 2019
LCLD is excited to bring Mock Interviews to the agenda again for 2019 1L Scholars, but we can’t do it without your help. The 2019 1L LCLD Scholars Summit takes place June 4-6, 2019, in Atlanta, GA. Mock Interviews will be held June 4, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheraton Atlanta.

TWIN CITIES MARATHON TEAM - October 2019
The unofficial LCLD marathon team is at it again! We’re running “the most beautiful urban marathon in America,” the Twin Cities Marathon, in October 2019. Our team is, as yet, small but committed. We hope you’ll consider joining us—whatever your experience level. It is a fun race, and the Twin Cities are home to a number of LCLD Member organizations and Fellows. We welcome job postings from our Member organizations to be featured in the Fellows Weekly announcements (FWA) at no cost. All positions must either require a J.D. degree or explicitly state that a J.D. degree is preferred, in addition to at least seven (7) years of experience. Associate level positions (or equivalent) are not posted in the FWA.
Postings will remain in the FWA for four (4) consecutive weeks and then be removed. You may request one posting renewal for an additional four (4) weeks. Opportunities received in accordance with the policy prior to 5 p.m. ET on Sunday will be posted in the Fellows Weekly Announcements released on the following Tuesday.*
