2015 Fellow T.R. Bynum is now in-house counsel with Wells Fargo in its Retail Brokerage Litigation Section.
2015 Fellow Dinesh Melwani has been tasked with chairing the Diversity Committee of the newly formed PTAB Bar Association, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the highest professional and ethical standards among lawyers who appear before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Parent and Trademark Office. 2015 Fellow Michael Wilder is now an Adjunct Law Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law, teaching Legal Writing IV for Labor and Employment, in addition to his responsibilities as Shareholder at Littler Mendelson. He will also be receiving the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award from the same school in November.
2015 Fellow Tanya Murphy Willacy is now General Counsel at Green Charge Networks, LLC.

2016 SECOND FELLOWS MEETING REGISTRATION
Registration for the LCLD 2016 Fellows Second Meeting at the Sheraton Grand Chicago is now open. The meeting will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm CT and conclude on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 12:00 pm CT (on-site registration will open at 12:30 pm CT on October 4). Please register to attend the meeting and reserve your hotel room. This is a two-part process in which you must:
(1) Register to attend the meeting by completing the sign-up form, here.

LCLD FELLOWS CRUISE: January 13-16, 2017
Please join your LCLD Fellows for the LCLD Inaugural 3-Day Cruise for MLK weekend (Jan. 13-16) from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island. It is an all-inclusive cruise, i.e., all drinks are included. Although we see each other at the Alumni Conference, a group of us in Chicago though it would be nice to see each other on a more frequent basis. Therefore, we planned a cruise. The Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP) is a client development, networking, and CLE event for attorneys in Texas. Save-the-Date Receptions are networking events held in major cities throughout Texas during the months leading up to the annual conference. GETTING INTO AND AHEAD IN INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION: Washington, DC - September 26, 2016
The Blacks of the American Society of International Law (BASIL) Task Force and Young ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration) are hosting a free event titled “Getting Into and Ahead in International Arbitration.” One of the goals of this event is to reach out to black lawyers and law students.
